As part of the film analysis event organized by our department, The Truman Show was discussed with the participation of our students and faculty members.
During the event, the film was analyzed through themes such as reality, media, surveillance society, free will, identity construction, and the individual’s position within the system, providing students with the opportunity to engage in critical thinking and interpretation.
Following the screening, participants exchanged ideas on the social and philosophical messages presented in the film and discussed different perspectives on the relationship between media and modern society.
We would like to thank all our students and faculty members who participated in and contributed to this event, which supported academic sharing and critical thinking culture within our department.
