Event on Teaching English with Digital Tools and eTwinning Organized

Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Education, with the contributions of the Department of English Language Education, organized the event titled “eTwinning for Future Teachers: Digital Boost for English Language Learning”, which was held on April 30, 2026, at the Şehit Hüseyin Kısa Conference Hall. The event was coordinated by Dr. Elham Zarfsaz, a faculty member of the Department of English Language Education at the Faculty of Education.

During the program, digital pedagogical approaches and the role of eTwinning projects in language teaching were discussed. At the event, Ünsal Saper, an English teacher at Zile Science High School and an eTwinning trainer, delivered a presentation on the integration of eTwinning projects into classroom practices and the development of digital content. Hakan Kani, the Tokat YEĞİTEK Project Coordinator, also attended the program.

Students from Zile Science High School, Zeynep Dağ, Ebru Öndeş, Hilal Ağırbaşlı, Zehra Zengin, and Beril Ada Övdür, shared their experiences gained through eTwinning projects. At the end of the program, Esragül Durmuş was presented with a certificate of appreciation and a gift in recognition of her contributions.
