Department of English Language Teaching Hosts the eTwinning National Support Service

Within the scope of eTwinning Support visits, we were pleased to host Çağla Nur Fikirli and Ertan Kocabaş from the eTwinning National Support Service Coordination Team.

During the program, information about eTwinning activities was shared, and our students actively participated in the event. The program, which was both productive and enjoyable, included important discussions on eTwinning projects and international collaborations.

The event also introduced the “Digital Boost for Active English Learning” eTwinning project. With the participation of Dr. Elham Zarfsaz from the Department of English Language Education at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, the project brings together pre-service English teachers from Trabzon University, Atatürk University, Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University (Ukraine), and Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University (Ukraine). The project aims to develop innovative, student-centered lessons supported by digital tools. Within the project, participants design interactive materials while improving their pedagogical and digital skills.

With the participation of our students involved in eTwinning projects, the event concluded as a productive and inspiring day that contributed to the development of a project culture within our faculty.
