The aim of the English Language Teaching master's program is to educate teachers and academicians equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes as well as a sophisticated perspective and ethical values, and open to innovations and developments that will contribute to the field of English language teaching and teacher training. In addition, the program offers the students' basic theoretical and methodological issues in language learning/acquisition and teaching, while providing a basis in the theoretical and applied aspects of the field, aiming to provide them with the ability to conduct qualitative/quantitative research in the field of English Language Teaching and Learning.
The vision of the division of English Language Teaching is to educate teachers and researchers who are guided by the principles of modern education, following scientific and critical thinking, and keeping track of technological changes.
The mission of the Department of English Language Education is to train researchers with advanced knowledge to contribute to the solution of English language teaching problems in our country in the light of contemporary methods and views in the field of English Language Education and to take an active role in the education and training of this language.
English Language Education Master's students can benefit from 3 computer labs and drama classrooms in addition to our 4 classrooms created only for graduate courses within the Faculty of Education.
Our student admissions for graduate education are in the fall and spring semesters and are announced with announcements made at the national level at least a month in advance.
