The English Language Education Undergraduate Program is committed to continuously improving its educational, research, and community engagement activities in line with national and international quality assurance standards. In line with this commitment, the program has applied for accreditation through the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (EPDAD), and the external evaluation process is currently ongoing.
Accreditation is an external quality assurance process through which an independent accreditation body evaluates the program based on criteria such as program educational objectives, learning outcomes, curriculum, teaching and assessment practices, academic staff, physical and technological resources, and quality assurance mechanisms. Beyond demonstrating compliance with established quality standards, the accreditation process promotes a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Quality assurance activities within the program are carried out through the active participation of students, graduates, academic staff, employers, and other internal and external stakeholders. Feedback obtained from these stakeholders is systematically used to improve the quality of educational processes.
The success of the accreditation process depends on the active engagement and contributions of all stakeholders. Therefore, the opinions and suggestions of our students, graduates, academic staff, and external stakeholders play a vital role in the continuous improvement of our program.
